The structural dynamics lab is a platform offering numerous and various experiments for lab classes and group projects in the field of dynamics and vibrations.

Some very advanced device  allows measurements of responses (acceleration) of academic and industrial structures (beam, plate, frame, automobile body, satelite, ...) under various types of solicitations (hammer shock, shaker, unbalance). From acquisition systems and software for specific calculations, many studies are performed: modal analysis of structures, frequency response, test-correlation calculations (finite element), structural changes and their dynamic behavior at dangerous frequencies by adding the masses, dynamic absorbers...

A collaboration with the research lab (LMT Cachan) (testing platform, FE simulations, ...) develops the research motivation of the student and givet a glimpse of the industrial reality.
